Baltimore, Md. – RMF Engineering today announced the nomination of its president, Duane Pinnix, PE, CCP, as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) Award. The EOY program is one of the world’s most prestigious business awards for entrepreneurs.
Pinnix has been at the helm of RMF Engineering since becoming majority owner in 1998. He joined the firm 26 years ago as a project engineer, and is responsible for the general oversight of RMF and executive management of its branch offices. Under his leadership, RMF has achieved new highs. The firm has grown to become a full-service engineering firm with more than 215 employees and 10 U.S. offices. With Pinnix’s oversight, RMF has also become a nationally recognized leader for the analysis, planning and design of multifaceted engineering projects serving higher education, healthcare, research and development, and government clients; and providing those services around the globe.
