Baltimore, Md. – January 20, 2012 – RMF Engineering announced today that Tim Griffin, P.E., C.E.M., LEED A.P. and Greg Carnathan, P.E., C.E.M., LEED A.P. will be presenting at the International District Energy Association’s 25th Annual Campus Energy Conference, “Innovations in Clean Energy,” which will take place at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA, February 6-9, 2012.
Griffin will sit on a panel with U.S. Department of Defense leaders to discuss sustainable opportunities for District Energy on Military Bases. Rob Thornton from IDEA Alexandria will moderate the panel, which will present on February 7th at 9:15 a.m.
Carnathan will co-present “Leaving Coal Behind – The Blue Devils Become Green,” with Griffin and Russell Thompson from Duke University. The presentation will tell the story of Duke University’s award winning efforts to end the use of coal on the university’s campus by reviving a vintage steam plant and creating a state-of-the-art facility in its place. The presentation will occur on February 7th at 11:15 a.m.
