Baltimore, Md. – RMF Engineering announced today that the firm’s Selbyville, Delaware office is moving to Salisbury, Maryland in order to better serve the firm’s growing clientele in the Delmarva area. The entire staff of the Delaware office will transfer to the new office and begin operations on July 5, 2017.
“At RMF, client service is our number one priority. Relocating our Delaware office to Salisbury will allow us to provide a heightened level of attentiveness to our clients in southern Maryland and position us to compete more aggressively in the region,” said Duane Pinnix, president and CEO of RMF Engineering.
The firm’s new office space, located on 100 East Main Street in downtown Salisbury, sits on the third floor of the historic Wicomico Hotel now known as One Plaza East, built in 1923. The 2,500-square-foot office will feature brand new LED lighting and standing desks to promote the health and wellness of each employee. The location has been strategically selected to allow for future office growth.
“Our new office puts us within walking distance of more than 50% of our clients,” said Tim Chatterton, project manager and leader of the new Salisbury office. “We anticipate there being immeasurable value in the increased face-to-face communication — we’ll be able to work more efficiently, address challenges more quickly and build deeper relationships with our clients.”
RMF’s Delaware office opened in 2011, providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing services to K-12 school systems, higher education institutions, architecture firms, healthcare organizations, medical office buildings and hotels. Following the move to Salisbury, the team will continue to serve the same suite of esteemed clients including Becker Morgan Group, Wicomico County Public School System, Salisbury University, Whiting-Turner, Peninsula Regional Health System, Fisher Architecture, George, Miles & Buhr, LLC and more.
