Baltimore, Md. – RMF Engineering announced today its selection into the Circle of Excellence (COE) by PSMJ Resources, the premier management-consulting firm for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Members of the COE represent top-performing firms with outstanding achievements in profitability, overhead, cash flow, productivity, business development, staff growth, and turnover.
This year’s COE members represent the top 20% of participants in the PSMJ’s A/E Financial Performance Benchmark Survey for 2012. The comprehensive report, spanning data from nearly 250 architecture and engineering firms across the U.S. and Canada, has become the industry’s leading resource for firms seeking to improve overall financial results. This year, 49 firms were extended membership into the COE.
In a recent press release, PSMJ’s director of A/E/C industry surveys, Kate Allen, PE, said, “The design and construction industry has been hit particularly hard by the recent economic downturn and is starting to see signs of a slow recovery. The firms recognized in the Circle of Excellence have thrived despite the recession, proving that success is possible, even in difficult times…”
President of RMF Engineering, Duane Pinnix, PE, CCP, commented, “This recognition by PSMJ is a testament to RMF’s dedication to accelerate through the recession without compromising management of our firm.” He continued, “While RMF is often recognized for the groundbreaking projects we help create, it’s something very special to be credited for our business acumen. We are very proud of this honor and proud of our team’s collective achievements.”
RMF and other COE member firms represent the top 20% of participants in PSMJ’s annual A/E Financial Performance Benchmark Survey. PSMJ will formally honor the firms at PSMJ’s A/E/C Industry Summit in Orlando, Florida (December 6-7).
