Baltimore, Md. – RMF Engineering, the Baltimore, Md.-based engineering firm, announced today the opening of a full-service office in Columbus, Ohio, in order to more appropriately serve its client, The Ohio State University, and the surrounding region.
“Opening a new office in Columbus allows RMF to keep growing as a firm and to uphold our mission of cultivating client relationships through a team-oriented and progressive culture,” said Duane Pinnix, president and CEO of RMF. “At RMF, we emphasize a commitment to our clients, and in Ohio, it has become increasingly important to have a bricks and mortar presence to serve clients to our fullest potential.”

Kenton Balenske, P.E., vice president and head of the RMF’s civil and structural engineering practice, and Richard Borkowicz, P.E., a division manager for RMF, will direct operations of the new office. Balenske, who has been with RMF since 1991, is accomplished in all phases of project development, including master planning, construction documents and administration. Borkowicz, who joined RMF in 1994 and leads numerous major heating plant projects for RMF, also manages RMF’s infrastructure engineering division.
