New Watt Innovation Center

The new Watt Family Innovation Center (WFIC) is a four-story, 70,000 SF addition to the main campus of Clemson University, situated southwest of Cooper Library parallel to the new Academic Success Center, which was also designed by RMF.  The new facility is accessible to all students, while housing freshman year courses for General Engineering students. The program space includes engineering scale-up and multi-purpose classrooms, industry collaboration spaces, technology demonstration / showcase area, technology based research / innovation laboratory space, an auditorium and support spaces. The building earned LEED Silver Certification.
