AnMed Health is a dynamic, comprehensive health system in Anderson, SC. For more than 100 years, AnMed Health has provided health care for residents of eight counties in upstate South Carolina and northeast Georgia. AnMed Health’s medical staff includes more than 400 physicians and over 3,600 employees.
RMF worked with AnMed Health as the MEP engineer on a three-story addition and renovation for their main medical center campus on North Fant Street. The major part of this project included the design of an approximately 5,000 SF hybrid operating suite on the third floor of the addition. The hybrid operating room put the latest in extremely detailed imaging technology in the same room where surgeries are performed, including minimally invasive and robotic surgeries. The hybrid operating rooms on the third floor were a complete fit-out, while the second floor was designed as shell space for potential new offices and administration with the capability of being converted to clinical and laboratory program in the future.
