Rob joined RMF’s Raleigh, North Carolina office as a fulltime employee in 2005 after spending 5 co-operative rotations with the firm as a student. He grew up in the firm with early exposure to several different project types and engineering challenges. Early on, Rob began to develop a passion for commissioning services. He quickly saw that expert commissioning could add tremendous value to the overall construction and operation of complex buildings, critical to our client’s core operations. During the AEC industry’s early development of commissioning, Rob began to formulate a vision of building on RMF’s long history of operations focused engineering design services and transitioning into a team focused on commissioning critical projects. What began as a team of three in 2004, has grown to a team of 15 professionals throughout the Southeast who have commissioned laboratory, healthcare and critical services facilities throughout the US and internationally. Rob and his team have been specifically sought after for various projects ranging from regional academic facilities to U.S. State Department Embassies in Africa and the Middle East. He is currently leading a growing commissioning team in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia.
Rob’s personal tenacity and dedication are key components to driving double digit growth for the firm year after year in commissioning.
