John Hovermale joined RMF in 1993 and leads and supports the Baltimore Structural Department. He has been the contract manager for work at the Architect of the Capitol since 2007 where he has provided designs, studies and general consultation to maintain their vast infrastructure. With 43 years of design experience, John’s expertise is in utility tunnel design and rehabilitation as well as façade restoration. He also specializes in structural design for industrial plants and healthcare facilities. John has familiarity with engineering and architectural systems outside of his own structural discipline and adds value to the entire design team in every stage of a project.
John is a licensed professional engineer in several states and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from University of Maryland College Park.
