In his article, “From OR to Burn Unit: Leveraging new tools for making complicated spaces flexible, possible” Greg shares his expertise, challenges and lessons learned in utilizing specialty engineering and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to analyze space conditions in modifying an existing operating room to one capable of handling burn patients. Particularly he speaks to the use of IESV CFD tools to model airflow within the space and the development of modeling information to advise the owner on system operation as the OR is utilized for high temperature procedures.
