RMF Engineering is pleased to announce the election of David Crutchfield, P.E., LEED A.P. to its Board of Directors.
Dave, a seasoned engineer with particular expertise in the design of research laboratories, joined RMF in 1993. In 2002, he was chosen to head the firm’s Charleston, South Carolina office, one of five RMF locations outside its Baltimore headquarters. The Charleston office, which has won numerous awards for its work, counts Clemson University, Francis Marion University and the University of South Carolina among its clients.
“As head of the Charleston office, Dave can provide us a multi-market perspective because he also worked in Baltimore for close to 10 years,” said Duane S. Pinnix, RMF’s President and CEO. “He is also an expert in designing complex laboratories for universities and R&D clients which is a key area of business for us.” Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Catholic University in Washington, D.C., is a frequent public speaker, and is a member of ASHRAE, ASME, ASPE, ISPE and SAME.
“RMF’s Board has significant leadership and engineering experience,” said David Crutchfield. “I’m looking forward to working with the group to ensure RMF’s continuing growth and success.”
