Craig Buck is the Division Manager of RMF’s Charleston, South Carolina office. He is a leader in innovation, with proven technical expertise in building systems design, and has the ultimate responsibility and authority for all services provided by the Charleston office. Craig has a hands-on approach with his multidisciplinary team and ensures the coordination and commitment of all staff resources to see that the priorities of every client are satisfied.
Since joining the firm in 1998, Craig has been promoted over the years and his commitment to RMF earned him a partner position in 2013. Craig’s extensive experience includes the planning, design, and construction of new and renovated buildings in the healthcare, research/laboratory, higher education, K-12, and sports and recreation markets. He is well-versed in the associated design standards, best practices, and code requirements, having successfully designed highly technical and comprehensive engineering solutions serving a wide variety of specialized facilities.
Craig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1997. He is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), is a certified U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and an accredited Healthcare Facility Design Professional (HFDP). Craig has presented at numerous conferences and has authored technical articles as a subject matter expert on healthcare and laboratory systems design.
