Jared Markle, PE

Principal

Jared Markle is a Principal with experience leading large electrical infrastructure upgrades to university, state, and research campuses and facilities. He joined the firm in 2011 and has been a leading member of the Baltimore Infrastructure team since this time.  Jared has guided prime electrical projects for regional clients, as well as several nationally recognized higher education clients. His expertise has distinguished RMF as a trusted advisor for new campus medium voltage (MV) planning and design opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic and northeastern regions of the U.S.

Jared’s specialties include developing unique and creative project approaches and phasing plans to maintain reliable power for a variety of switchgear, generator, and campus distribution projects. He has designed electrical upgrades to campus-wide facilities including new automated switchgear and generator control systems, central energy plants, voltage upgrades, low voltage replacements, and controls retrofits.

Jared is a graduate of RMF’s Leadership Development Program and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.  He has published many works for such publications as College Planning + Management and PurePower Magazine and has presented at notable forums such as the International District Energy Association’s Campus Energy Conference.
