RMF Engineering has graduated seven, high-performing employees from the firm’s Leadership Development Program (“LDP”).
LDP is an internal, educational program meant to develop the firm’s mid-level leaders and successfully prepare them to take on key leadership roles moving forward. The 20-month program guides participants through coursework covering strategic planning, financial accounting, human resources, business development and communication. At the conclusion of the program, each participant developed a business plan around a growth opportunity for the firm and presented it to the firm’s Board of Directors. The graduation ceremony will be held the end of November in Annapolis, MD.
“At RMF, we’re dedicated to the future success of our people. The focus of the LDP program is to take our team members who are already highly skilled engineers and grow them into well-rounded leaders who have the tools to successfully run the firm in the future,” said Tim Griffin, Executive Vice President, RMF. “We are very pleased with the progress our third graduating class made and look forward to seeing them each grow further into firm leadership roles.”
All seven of this year’s participants achieved Competent Communicators Certification through Toastmasters International, graduated from the Rapport Leadership Training and were either published in a relevant trade publication or presented at an industry trade show.
